Yammer, twitter, blogs, SharePoint - whatever social media you're using, you need to be sure that the benefits extend themselves far beyond increased employee engagement to the wider business:
Faster decision making and idea exchange
Improved recruitment and employee retention
Increased visibility and accessibility of business leaders
Improved customer service
Reduced duplication of effort
Leading companies such as Unilever, IBM Belgium & Luxembourg and Van Marcke Group of Companies are using social media to achieve all of this and more, and will be providing a behind-the-scenes insight at Melcrum's social media conference - what worked, what didn't, what they're doing now, and how they've integrated social media into everyday business, as a tool to meet and surpass strategic goals.
